Founded by Helmut Hamberger & Nicole Lorenz

in Munich, Germany in 1996, Bavarian Tradition is a unique gift shop which is well known at Christmas markets across the U.S. for its classic Christmas tree ornaments, aromatic Spice Wreaths, colorful Jumping Jacks, traditional Straw decorations, Frankincense and Spice bags, and other unique handmade crafts, which embody the holiday spirit.

 While Bavarian Workshop is recognized for our Christmas decorations, we also features year-round ornaments, keepsakes and jewelry, which make the perfect gift anytime. 

When Bavarian Workshop began participating in local Christmas markets across North America almost 20 years ago, we began featuring products created by skilled southern German artisans. 

In addition to our own exclusive product line, we recently debuted a collection of hand painted pewter ornaments. With the introduction of these exciting, new gifts, our new company, Bavarian Tradition was born.

Because our loyal customers asked for the opportunity to purchase our unique items year-round, we were pleased and excited to open our online shop. Enjoy!
